Going Back Again

In April I posted photos from this walking trail; the trees were still naked from winter. Last night Blue and I made the hike in early fall; the trees, though full and green, will soon display their fall colors. This 3,500-acre state park is located about a quarter mile from my home.

Blue has been an eager and faithful walking companion for many years, but she is now so crippled with arthritis last night’s walk proved too hard for her. Any more trips to the lake for Blue will be made riding shot gun in the truck.
