2003-09-27 - 8:19 a.m. Cowgirl Summer Vacations Dad wasn’t a city slicker so all my childhood vacations, except San Diego and Washington D.C., were spent exploring the Wild West.
I can’t remember being this young, and I can’t remember this vacation. My mother assures me it was “out west somewhere.”
Badlands, South Dakota
Kentucky. One of the few times Dad took me east in search of cowboys.
I rode with Poncho Villa in Mexico.
